Support the DISCLOSE Act!
The DISCLOSE Act bill, first introduced by Senator Feingold in 2010, has been reintroduced in the House. The DISCLOSE Act would force more campaign finance transparency by ensuring a more timely disclosure from Super PACs and 501(c)(4) organizations who pay for TV ads, as well as forcing corporations to disclose political spending to their shareholders. This bill will not get wealthy individuals, lobbyists, or corporate interest money out of politics, but it will be a step toward accountability.
