The Best Government Money Can Buy? Laurence Lessig

Lawrence Lessig is one of the most interesting thinkers and writers of our time. He has studied and written about ideas as diverse as intellectual property in the Internet Age; the relationship between computer code and the law; and the future of creativity. Recently, he has focused on the corrupting effects of money on politics, especially in the wake of the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision. His new book Republic, Lost: A Declaration for Independence sets forth his conclusions about how extensively money has corrupted our system and what we need to do about it.
