The stunning 2018 midterm victory confirmed we have the power. Thanks to unwavering support from grassroots activists and volunteers, New Jersey flipped four long-held Republican Congressional seats from Red to Blue. Thanks to your past support, BlueWaveNJ was a key force in harnessing activists and volunteers in three of those four districts and also in ensuring our senate seat remained Democratic.
However, as we are reminded daily, our democracy, constitution and progressive values remain under threat. There is much work to be done and the must-win 2020 election is just around the corner. If the mid-term outcomes proved nothing else; local, organic organizing and resistance are paramount. Your participation in BWNJ’s gala is essential not only to maintain, but also to strengthen our policy advocacy and election work in Trenton and Washington at this pivotal point.
