Public polling has long shown that most Americans believe in the right to reproductive freedom. Abortion was on the ballot this past election and the American public made their support clear on Nov. 8th. 

Here in New Jersey because of the work of Governor Murphy and the champions in our senate and assembly as well as grassroots support, abortion care is a strongly protected right in our state.     

However, a right is not a right without access.  For too many in our state, reproductive healthcare needs and procedures are not affordable.  What our state truly needs is efforts to expand access to abortion care and BlueWaveNJ looks forward to working with our legislators to:

• Guarantee insurance coverage of abortion with no copays.
• Secure funding for those who are uninsured or underinsured.
• Expand reproductive services across the state so geographic proximity does not limit access.
