Holding the House and Senate in 2022 is critical and will take extensive efforts. To succeed, we urgently need to understand what will and what won't work.

Congressman Andy Kim outperformed as Democrats across the country struggled in down-ballot races in 2020:

• He widened his 2018 1% margin to 8%.
• He was one of just 7 Democrats representing districts Trump won in 2020; in 2018 there were 30.
• Among those 7, he is the only member of color.
