It’s time to override Christie for Equal Pay.

In May, Chris Christie turned his back on women across the state and vetoed the NJ Pay Equity Act. Yesterday, Democratic Senators announced they will attempt to override Christie’s veto.

December 11, 2016 - BlueWaveNJ, a Montclair-based progressive grassroots organization, today unanimously endorsed Phil Murphy to be the next Governor of New Jersey. The gubernatorial election will take place on November 7, 2017.

With the surprise results of last month's elections we have been flooded with requests on how everyone can get involved. While there is a lot to do in the long term to ensure the future of our country, in the short term there are some very tangible things you can do to get involved and make a difference!

New Jersey Citizen Action has been waging a very active campaign to persuade the CFPB  to issue the strongest payday and car title lending rule possible.

BlueWaveNJ is a grassroots organization working toward a more fair and just society by advocating for progressive issues and electing candidates that share our values and concerns.

Many of our members have been active in the recent presidential primaries. Some have supported Hillary Clinton, some have been inspired by Bernie Sanders’ campaign, and some have been undecided.

Now is the time for everyone who believes in American values of liberty and justice for all to unite.

With the election fast approaching, voting rights is once again coming into the national spotlight and we are once again reminded that we must be vigilant in our fight to defend it. Around the country, Republicans are trying to chip away at voting rights and make it more difficult for citizens to participate in the democratic process. We at BlueWaveNJ believe voting should be easy and accessible to every citizen.
