BlueWaveNJ members participated in over 1,700 canvassing shifts, that resulted in knocking on over 51,000 doors. We handed out over 20,000 postcards at train stations and canvassing events comparing the candidates positions on healthcare and the environment.

Donald Trump just crossed a red line, violating the independence of the investigation pursuing criminal charges in the Trump-Russia scandal and cover-up.

Trump putting himself above the law is a threat to our democracy, and we’ve got to get Congress to stop him.

We're mobilizing immediately to demand accountability, because Trump is not above the law.

The stakes for this election could not be higher. As we head into the final stretch of this election season it has become clear that nothing is more important than making sure Democrats turn out. If we can mobilize and come out in strong numbers we will win this election. For the final week of this election we have a multitude of events that we are hosting and sponsoring.

The below is a letter written by a BlueWaveNJ member to the Star Ledger in regards to disgraceful and false advertisement put out by Bob Hugin.

Dear Editors:

I'm  outraged by latest Bob Hugin's ad dredging up completely discredited old allegations concerning Bob Menendez and under age prostitutes. These charges were investigated by the FBI and local police and shown to have been generated by paid political operatives. The Washington Post fact checker just gave this ad 4 "Pinocchios" because it is so false and defamatory.

We Can Count on Menendez to fight for us in Washington.

BlueWaveNJ’s board has unanimously endorsed Senator Menendez based on his commitment to the progressive agenda and his extensive record of service to NJ.

Keeping this seat is critical in our efforts to flip the Senate.  Choosing not to vote is a vote for Hugin and for Trump’s policies.  Throughout his public career, Senator Menendez has been a consistent and effective voice for social, environmental and economic justice.

We are working hard every day to help take back congress. These elections may be the most important mid-term elections of our lives and we will not sit on the sidelines. Join us at an event near you. New Jersey is a key battleground state for the 2018 midterms with 3 Congressional Districts in play. Russian interference infected the 2016 elections and we know it will happen again. In New Jersey there are only DRE, Direct Recording Electronic, voting machines in service. With these machines, there is only a tally of votes without a paper trail to verify each voter's intent.

Upgrading and protecting our voting machines is a vital to ensuring the next elections are fair. We have contacted Freeholders across the state urging them to take the initiative and upgrade these out of date systems.

The below letter was sent to Freeholders across the state. 

Dear Freeholder,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to see if there’s a time we could speak briefly by phone or in person about election security in New Jersey, specifically looking into getting new voting machines in your county.

On Thursday June 7, the Trump Administration argued in Federal court that the Affordable Care Act’s provisions that protect those with pre-existing medical conditions from being discriminated against by insurers should be struck down, putting the U.S. Department of Justice’s legal weight behind another attempt to destroy Americans’ health care protections under the law.
